Purchase terms.
Plain language, no traps. This page covers what you are buying, how payment works, when you get your money back, and who owns what. You own what we build, forever.
1. What you are buying
You are buying a custom-built AI workspace. We configure it from your intake: your accounts, your methodology, your voice. It is delivered as a verified package that you extract into a Dropbox folder you own, plus a live install call where we set it up through your Claude account. You keep the root private from HUMN and share only its System subfolder with us for product updates.
It is not software hosted by HUMN, and there is no product login on our servers. Claude Cowork may process sessions and connected files on Anthropic infrastructure and save sessions and files to your Claude account. Your Claude plan, account settings, and Anthropic terms govern that processing. Your Claude plan is a separate cost you pay to Anthropic, not to us.
2. What you need before you buy
Before a Sales OS checkout, you complete a short readiness check: the computer your OS will run on, your Claude plan, and the data question described in section 11. The check exists so you never pay for something your setup cannot run. Answer it accurately. The refund policy in section 5 is keyed to it. Other products state their requirements on their own pages and at checkout.
3. How you accept these terms
For The Sales OS, you accept these terms by checking the acceptance box on the readiness check before checkout. We record that acceptance with a timestamp and a reference code that ties it to your checkout, and with your email when you provide it, as part of your order.
For purchases made directly through one of our checkout links, you accept these terms by completing the checkout they govern; the checkout page references these terms, and completing payment is your acceptance.
4. Payment and the queue
- The Sales OS is $5,000, one-time. Other products are priced on the pricing page and at checkout.
- Payment runs through Stripe. If financing options appear at checkout, that financing is a separate agreement between you and the financing provider.
- We build a fixed number of workspaces each week, in order. Your build starts when your slot opens. We tell you your expected start window after purchase.
- Your intake has to be complete before your build can start. If we are waiting on your intake, the queue position holds but the clock does not start.
5. Refund policy
- Before your build starts: full refund, any time, for any reason. Email us and we return the money.
- Within 30 days of purchase: full refund if the product cannot run on the setup you verified in the readiness check, or, for products without a readiness check, on a setup that meets the requirements we published. We will try to fix it first. If we cannot, you get your money back.
- After delivery acceptance (section 6): refunds only for non-functionality we cannot fix. The product is custom-built on your data, so it cannot be returned like a boxed item.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Refund requests go to hello@humnminds.ai.
6. Delivery and acceptance
Delivery happens at the install call: your workspace, set up and working on your machine, with you driving it before the call ends. You then have 5 business days to report anything that does not work as described. We fix it and redeliver. If nothing is reported in that window, the delivery is accepted.
7. Ownership and license
- Your workspace copy and your data are yours, forever. Every file in your folder, every output the system produces for you, and every piece of data you load stays your property. This survives cancellation of anything.
- HUMN Minds retains ownership of the underlying templates, skills architecture, and methods we used to build it. You get a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them inside your workspace.
- What you cannot do: resell, redistribute, or repackage the underlying templates and skills as a product or service for others. Using your workspace to do your own work, including work for your employer or your clients, is exactly the point and always allowed.
8. Optional maintenance subscription
After delivery you can run entirely on your own. If you want us to keep your system current, maintenance is $97 per month, optional. You are paying for a service, not for access to your own system. It covers:
- The monthly enrichment stream: proposed updates to your workspace from real usage, delivered as drafts you approve.
- Skill updates and improvements as we ship them.
- Platform repairs when the underlying tools change and something breaks.
- A monthly change note showing what was done and why.
Cancel any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. When you cancel, you keep the OS, every update already delivered, and all your data. Nothing is switched off, because nothing of yours runs on our side. You own what we build, forever. Staying current with us is optional.
9. Refreshes
A refresh is a deeper tune-up: we re-sync your workspace with your current deals, data, and priorities. With The Sales OS, your first refresh, around day 30, is included in the purchase price. Beyond that, refreshes are $500 to $750 each, quoted before any work starts.
10. Your data and our access
The short version: your folder is yours. Our standing access is limited to the System area that holds skills and templates. We see your deal data only when you grant access for a refresh, and that access is time-boxed and then revoked. We never sell your data.
- Your workspace lives in your own storage account. You control membership.
- Our standing access covers only the managed System area: skills, templates, and the guide. That is what lets us ship updates.
- Broader access happens only when you grant it, for a specific refresh, for a limited time, and it is logged and then revoked.
- Your heavy business data (CRM exports, email, transcripts) loads directly into your folder on your machine during the install call. It does not pass through our systems.
- We never sell your data. We never use your data to train public AI models. We never use your data for another client.
- Any future opt-in data program would require your separate, explicit consent, and employer-owned data is excluded from any such program regardless of consent.
Details are in the privacy policy.
11. Employer data
Most sellers work with data that belongs to their employer. By purchasing, you confirm that you own the data you load into your workspace, or that you have your employer's authorization to use it this way. We record this attestation with your order.
That confirmation is one we rely on. If you load data you did not have the right to use, you are responsible for what follows: you agree to indemnify HUMN Minds against third-party claims, including your employer's, that arise from data you loaded in breach of this section.
If your employer's policy does not allow company data in personal tools, do not work around it. Use our team offering instead: we build with your company's sanction, inside your company's environment. Ask us at hello@humnminds.ai and we will help you make the case internally.
12. Your responsibilities
- Keep your machine, Dropbox account, and Claude plan in good standing. Folder-backed work requires the Claude desktop bridge when Anthropic's current Cowork mode cannot reach the local folder without it.
- Follow your employer's policies and applicable law when you load and use data.
- Review AI output before you rely on it. The system drafts, you decide. Its output is working material, not legal, financial, or other professional advice. We do not guarantee any revenue outcome, deal result, or quota attainment.
13. Warranties and liability
We warrant that our services are performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. Beyond that, the product is provided as-is, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Each party's total liability under these terms is capped at the fees you paid us, except for a party's breach of confidentiality, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or your indemnity obligation in section 11.
14. Third-party platforms
Your workspace runs on third-party platforms, primarily Anthropic's Claude and your storage provider. We do not control their pricing, availability, or feature changes. If a platform change breaks something, maintenance subscribers get the repair as part of the subscription; everyone else can purchase a refresh. Your ownership of your files never depends on any platform decision.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington.
16. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, the version that applies to your purchase is the one you accepted at checkout. We keep dated versions. Changes never reduce your ownership of what you already bought.
